Data science and AI-enabled technology to support
Landscape and Visual Amenity Assessment

Understanding the visual impact of proposed infrastructure development is critical for development approval, design development, earning stakeholder support, enhancing social license and minimising potential negative impacts on landscape amenity.

Amenity Intelligence's proprietary tools enable quantitative analysis for visual impact studies and raise the bar on best-practice.

Amenity Intelligence was formed from the digital engineeering and research teams at Convergen, a visualisation company that specialises in visual impact assessment imagery. Having supported over 100 visual assessment projects in green energy, mining, transport infrastructure, buildings and maritime, the team explored gaps in the existing literature to develop a quantitative methodology for calculating new metrics for describing impacts to visual amenity and obtaining insights that were supported by data.

Our mission it to create best-practice tools that achieve the best possible stakeholder outcomes whilst also opening new areas for exploring AI-enabled design.

More information to be released in early 2025.
